Papà Raffaele: the best Italian restaurant for pizza

Let’s not beat around the bush— for years, the highest spot on the podium for pizza in Lille goes to Papà Raffaele. And the people of Lille agree! The dough is amazing, the ingredients come straight from Italy, and the recipes change with the seasons... It’s a total win for anyone wanting to taste an authentic Neapolitan pizza! And if you’re in the mood for something different, you can pop over to their second location, Papà Posto, for an aperitivo with delicious charcuterie, cheese, and lots of shareable antipasti! In the end, two Italian restaurants in Lille means double the joy thanks to Papà Famiglia!

La Bellezza: the trendiest Italian restaurant in Lille

Just a quick update to add the most famous Italian trattoria in Lille. With a snap of the fingers, the food group Big Mamma has carved out a nice spot in the Lille dining scene and has become a must-visit for the best Italian dishes. This Italian restaurant in Lille has turned into a go-to for tourists and locals alike. What are the star dishes at Bellezza? Truffle pasta served in a pot, truffle pizza, ravioli, a to-die-for tiramisu, a gigantic lemon meringue tart... In short, you should definitely go there more than once!

Carmi: the sweet life version non-stop

Carmi is the kind of place where you can drop by for a morning coffee, come back for a panini at noon, and end your day with an espresso martini and burratina in the evening. With a New York deli vibe, you’ll find French toast-style panettone, pinse, and shareable antipasti: everything is delicious, and especially at any hour. Big love for their stainless steel counter styled like a New York eatery, and their selection of natural wines (thank you Le Présentoir). It's a true neighborhood restaurant, tucked away in Gand Street.

Squadra Club: Italy meets urban beach bar

Glitter, cocktail fountains, mini frittatas, and frozen fruitinis… We’re just next to Lille Europe train station, but Squadra takes you straight to the Apulia region. Thin Neapolitan pizzas, funky antipasti, and seaside vibes, all in a restaurant on the ground floor of the Shake (That one with parking right below and Mesa just above).

Bacio Divino: chic, truffle, and perfect for brunching

Craving a Sunday Italian brunch that’s different from the usual buttered toasts? Head to Bacio Divino. Their all-you-can-eat formula for €30 is unbeatable: antipasti, pastas, cheeses, desserts—it's all there! The place checks the box for being “stylish without being snobby,” and the truffle dishes (hello fagottini al tartufo) deserve a few plate licks. Perfect for big appetites and special occasions.

Tripletta: the cool little sister of Carmi

At Tripletta, you can bite into a Roman pizza with a thin crust, try out some delicious antipasti (zucchini fritters, arancini, burratinas...), and finish off with a crazy dessert: a stuffed donut with ice cream topped with caramel sauce and crunchy almonds. The place is full of charm: old brick, wood, and vintage light fixtures, it’s everything we love. We can't resist their macaroni gratin and their lasagna, which was confirmed by the neighbor at the table with a "so good" that sounds very promising.
