We love Chinese food, but let's admit it, we are a bit tired of the usual combo of spring rolls and fried rice. Luckily for us, many restaurants go beyond that and create original and delicious specialties. One of them is the bao, a small steamed stuffed bun from northern China. Here are 4 great Asian restaurants where baos are flowing.

CO DO HUE

Here, the bao is served as an appetizer. Soft and tender, it is filled with shrimp and pork. For those with a bigger appetite, you can upgrade the appetizer to a main course (to have more, of course!). The appetizer version costs 8.50€.

Dumplings and co

At Dumplings and co, the king of steam, the bao is enjoyed with lacquered chicken and barbecue: you'll need to pay around 3€ for a bao. For the sweet lovers, there are also two sweet versions for dessert: the bao with red bean paste or the bao with English cream...

TAO Bento

Here, we offer steamed dumplings with different flavors: chicken and lemongrass, beef, shrimp and curry ... For less than 5€, several small buns are served to you and it's a real delight!

Le Dragon d'Or

At this ideally located restaurant on Solfé Street, you have plenty of choices if you are a fan of Chinese food. Here, you can enjoy Shanghai buns (4 for €4). Served with pork, they are perfect as an appetizer! Enjoy!
