La Promenade: between Nice and the North, it doesn’t play favorites
La Promenade is a bit of a bridge between Chef Rémi Navello’s Niçoise roots and his love for the Northern terroir. Perfect egg, duck breast with sweet potato puree, or scallops with morel risotto – it’s all precise, generous, and always elegant. Bonus: the terrace and the pétanque area if the sun is shining.

Repu: the neighborhood spot turned gourmet destination
At Repu, Abdelkader Belfatmi (formerly of Val d’Auge and Laiterie) focuses on raw and crafted cuisine: veal sweetbreads with morels, homemade gnocchi, trout from Artois… And a thoughtfully curated wine list to complement it all. It’s warm, relaxed, and it’s a delight to find a bistronomic restaurant in the metropolis that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Bleu Canard: the market cuisine that stands out
At this restaurant on Rue Pierre Mauroy, you come for the retro decor, the always surprising & delicious dishes (special shoutout to the swordfish tataki), and the delightful wine and beer list. It's local, creative, and always well sourced. For fans of Japanese cuisine, a little mention to the neighbor of Bleu Canard, also to the nearby Aokamo, in a completely different style but worth the detour.
