La Promenade: between Nice and the North, it hasn’t chosen a side

La Promenade is a bit of a bridge between chef Rémi Navello's Niçoise roots and his love for northern produce. Perfect egg, duck breast with sweet potato purée, or scallops with morille risotto—it's precise, generous, and always elegant. Bonus: the terrace and pétanque area if the sun is shining.

Address: 107 Av. de Bretagne, 59000 Lille, France

Repu: the neighborhood spot turned gourmet dining

At Repu, Abdelkader Belfatmi (formerly of Val d’Auge and Laiterie) focuses on honest and carefully crafted cuisine: veal sweetbreads with morels, homemade gnocchi, Artois trout… And a well-thought-out wine list to complement the dishes. It's warm, relaxed, and it's delightful to find a bistro-style restaurant in the metropolis that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Club Marot: a sure value in the city center

A chic restaurant without being stuffy, run by a young family team that knows what they’re doing. At Club Marot, from the discovery menu to the wagyu/scallops/foie gras menu, everything is mastered, balanced, and well-presented. A beautiful wine list, attentive service… and a Granny apple dessert that deserves its own ovation.

Millésime: for lovers of gentle cooking

Here, there’s no intense cooking. Everything is steamed, low temperature, or raw. The result: super healthy yet incredibly tasty dishes, all presented with a true artistic flair. At Millésime, the menu changes every month, the wine pairings are thoughtfully crafted, and the staff does it all with love. The perfect spot to enjoy a different meal without compromising on flavor.

Address: 65 Rue Saint-André, 59800 Lille, France

Félicie: the most surprising experience in Loos

At Félicie, you come to be surprised. Menus with levels of culinary "twist," cocktails paired with dishes, radish-based desserts, in-room entertainment, smoking at the table... It’s daring, playful, and truly successful. A bistronomic gem (and a bit quirky) just a stone's throw from Lille.

Address: 78 Rue du Maréchal Foch, 59120 Loos, France

Bleu Canard: market cuisine that pops

At this restaurant on Rue Pierre Mauroy, we come for the retro decor, the plates that are always surprising & delicious (special mention for the swordfish tataki) and the wine and beer selection that brings joy. It’s local, creative, and always well sourced. For fans of Japanese cuisine, a little shoutout to the neighbor of Bleu Canard and also to Aokamo, which is in a whole different genre but definitely worth the detour.
