The Moss People of Faidherbe Street:

They need no introduction. These little green creatures welcome travelers at the exit of Lille Flandres station. Inspired by Scandinavian elves, they are the creation of artist Kim Simonsson!

Simone, at Lille Flandres station:

Simone, is a gigantic sculpture with organic shapes suspended above our heads at Lille Flandres station. "Made entirely by hand from wool, various fabrics, and LED lights, the entire structure rests on an immense inflatable over 40 meters long that interacts with the surrounding space. It is a tribute that Joana Vasconcelo's, known for her monumental creations, pays to three great French female figures: Simone de Beauvoir (1908-1986), Simone Veil (1927-2017), and Simone Hérault (1950), a renowned actress known for being the voice of SNCF, the National Railway Company, for forty years."

The Maison du Maxitos, exterior of the Hospice Comtesse:

This charming little house rests at the Hospice Comtesse. "It resembles a cabin from another age, straight out of a fairy tale. The house appears incongruously among these traditional brick houses in the heart of Old Lille. A Maxitos, with a giant pumpkin head, stands at the center of the Comtesse Isle, standing in front of his home. Carried by the worlds of "half-magical, half-memorial on the theme of childhood", it stands as an anthem to joy, get ready to enter the realm of the giant Maxitos …" . PS: Don't hesitate to climb on the benches to discover the interior of the house through the windows!

... And let's not forget its fantastic little gardeners, the Nanitos!

"Jaider Esbell's work intertwines indigenous myths, critiques of hegemonic culture, and socio-environmental concerns. In the courtyard of the Hospice Comtesse Museum, two imposing snakes, adorned with colorful circular patterns, stand tall.

"... in attack position."

The Hatchling, Hospice Comtesse :

Fall in love with this egg created by Joanna Rajkowska that vibrates to the rhythm of the heart! "The Hatchling is a large-scale replica of a blackbird egg with very characteristic colors: blue-green with brown spots. From inside the sculpture emanate the sounds of a hatching recor...Created by ornithologists. The masterpiece invites the visitor to approach closely to listen carefully to the rustles of new life. The egg vibrates to the rhythm of heartbeats, shell cracks, and the first chirps emitted by the nestling to announce its arrival in the world.

Rezilientia, Vieille Bourse :

An artwork by the French artist Ghyslain Bertholon: "The emotion felt by the artist in the face of the Earth's woes imposes itself as the enigmatic memory of an echo with oneself: his work has always been part of the relationship that Man maintains with the Fauna and Flora. 'A relationship of domination that leads the human animal to use and abuse the resources offered by a planet whose major balances are now disturbed. Yet Nature always asserts itself, the respite granted by the lockdown has clearly demonstrated this. Rezilientia is a desperately optimistic work, as I like to define myself. Do we have a choice?'."

Ostfriesland on the PARVIS OF THE HOUSE OF WAZEMMES :

This gigantic wrought iron teapot is adorned with jasmine plants! "Up close, you realize that it is the perfect symbiosis between nature and industry. In the volutes that shape Ostfriesland, you can recognize the characteristic patterns of balcony grilles or railings, which mark our memories."
