He was elected the very first World Champion of French fries and then... of Welsh! Philippe Frénoi opened his very first food truck in Linselles just a few days ago called Friterie Frénoi. Originally an electricity teacher, these 2 titles that he won at the end of 2023 now allow him to fulfill his dream by opening his own fry shop. And customers come from far and wide to taste the best fries in the world, which are of course cooked in beef fat, but not only that: "We have gone for a seasoning based on vinegar in which we macerated some plants," he explains to TF1!
As for prices, you're looking at €4.50 per serving. Along with your fries, you can order sandwiches or a fricadelle, and of course... the famous Welsh dish that also earned him an award!
You can find the Frénoi food truck for the next 6 months in the Place de la République in Linselles from Friday to Sunday.some !
