A curtain falls on a giant of pornfood

Since its opening, Grand Scène has been not only a food court, but also: banquets filled with laughter, unexpected brass bands, wild voguing nights, games watched like at the stadium, the Olympics, massive street food festivals... In short, a delightful mix of the best that Lille has to offer: eating, toasting, and celebrating together.

The court's gavel has sounded

Despite a proposed recovery plan, financial support, and a bunch of events lined up starting in October, the court did not grant a reprieve to the teams. The verdict has unfortunately come down: Grand Scène will close its doors this Saturday at midnight. It’s a harsh, unexpected blow for the regulars.

A living space, plain and simple

The founders keep saying it: the Grand Scène was never "just a restaurant." It was a crossroads for encounters, a place for cultural and culinary exchanges that Lille desperately needs. And its closure serves as a wake-up call: our bars, restaurants, and independent venues need support. Because after the Bistro Saint-So yesterday, and the Grand Scène today... who will it be tomorrow?

We’re partying until the very last minute

A little glimmer of hope: it doesn’t have to end in silence. Until Saturday at midnight, the team promises an overflowing bar, booming music, and dishes served until the very last minute. It's all about turning this closing into one last burst of bravery, just like Grand Scène knows how to do best.
