Exceptional chocolates and mouthwatering treats

Well-known in Boulogne-sur-Mer for 4 years, the artisanal chocolate shop Les Douceurs de Louis has just settled (along with its delicious creations) in Old Lille. Trained at the prestigious Maison Vaucamps and using Valrhona products, the chef chocolatier offers you ultra-indulgent treats to enjoy on the spot or to take away.

Two delightful tasting menus are an absolute must-try. The first, at just €7.50, treats you to a hot drink of your choice (gourmet tea, coffee, or Viennese hot chocolate) accompanied by four artisanal chocolates of the moment. Special mention goes to the “tasting herbal tea”, incredibly smooth and perfect to pair with your caramel-raspberry chocolate (our favorite)! The second option adds a generous slice of homemade cake, taking your enjoyment to the next level!

Prefer something cold? No worries, iced infusions and farm-fresh apple juice will refresh you after your stroll through old Lille.

The paradise of ultra-trendy chocolates

On the boutique side, it’s simple: everything you taste on-site is available to take away! Artisan chocolates you can mix and match, super (super) addictive homemade spreads, chocolate bombs, and chocolate bars inspired by Dubai with a French twist (think pistachio and lace crepes, a must!). And of course, Easter eggs in dark, milk, or white chocolate. We’re totally obsessed with the caramel-raspberry spread, a truly addictive treat that you absolutely need to try!

A terrace with Bridgerton vibes

The hidden terrace at the back immerses us in a setting fit for a tea party with Queen Charlotte. With an ultra-romantic and lush ambiance, vintage mirrors, and delightfully retro furniture… Get ready for those Insta stories that feel like a royal tea time, blending Bridgerton and Alice in Wonderland.

And coming soon: ultra-cool chocolate workshops!

Starting mid-April, Les Douceurs de Louis offers private classes (5 to 10 people) through the Wecandoo platform. In just 1.5 hours, you'll learn to make your own chocolate bar and personalized mendiants that you can proudly (or not) bring home. The basement will soon be available for private sweet breaks or company seminars that go beyond the usual karaoke.

Get ready, this tea-chocolate salon has just set the bar very, very high.
