Grand Scène transforms into a Special JO Gastronomic Village
If you are still looking for your future headquarters to make the most of the Olympics without neglecting your hungry stomachs, know that the food-court Grand Scène, located on Rue de Béthune, is transforming into a Gastronomic Village from July 26 to September 8. For a month and a half, Grand Scène becomes the essential stop to fully enjoy the atmosphere. The spot will dress up in its finest Olympic attire and offer around ten participatory and free activities. Whether for the young or the young at heart, everyone can gather around events celebrating local gastronomy and sports. Because whether at the table or on the field, the passion of being together unites us!

To make sure everything is covered, the Olympic Gastronomic Village at Grand Scène has already planned a bunch of really cool things. Let me tell you, the program is going to be jam-packed. "Throughout the summer, families and friends are welcome to enjoy watching the competition on a giant screen, bingo and karaoke themed around the Games, olympics and cooking workshops for children, an awareness evening about disabilities, and much more", we are told.
On the food side, each corner will embody a different country in the image of the Olympics. Each stand will offer locally-sourced street food while representing the country or region from which its cuisine originates.
