The Friche transforms into a true alpine bar
Every winter, the Friche puts on its mountain gear and transforms its massive terrace into a high-altitude spot. Just a stone's throw from Lille, you'll discover a setting that rivals the resorts of the Alps: sixteen vintage cable cars sourced from Grand-Bornand and Serre-Chevalier, a snowmobile, ski lifts, pine trees, and even a curling lane. All of this comes with a backdrop of music and twinkling fairy lights. The atmosphere is frosty, but inside, it’s cozy warm with a large chalet-style hall that can host up to 250 guests.

Winter Evenings Galore
And because at La Friche, we don’t know how to be bored, the whole winter program promises wonderful evenings. On Tuesdays, we sip beer while painting with watercolors; on Wednesdays, we test our musical knowledge with Claudy's blind test; on Thursdays, it’s showtime with “La Friche has an incredible talent.” On weekends, the DJ sets roll on until 2 AM with snow cannons, vinyl mixes, live karaoke, and winter parties. Even Sundays are set to be lively, with free concerts and a Christmas market to keep the magic going.
And the first evening you absolutely must not miss is on October 31st, when La Friche celebrates Halloween in ski resort style: costumes, DJ sets, and a chilling yet sizzling atmosphere!
