Back to the Roots for Bloempot, Even More Delicious Than Before

After spending a few months at the Toquées with their « Bloempot on Deûle », Florent Ladeyn, Florence Grave and their whole team finally return to their HQ in Vieux-Lille, rue des Bouchers. A well-known spot for the locals, but it’s coming back with a great dose of novelty.

This reopening isn’t just about replaying the same recipe: Florent and his crew have decided to take gastronomy further while staying true to their ultra-local and committed values. Here, there are zero compromises: they exclusively cook with products from local, organic, or wild farming in the Flemish region.

A kitchen in tune with the seasons by Florence Grave

At the helm of the kitchen, chef Florence Grave draws direct inspiration from what the Flemish nature has to offer throughout the weeks. You’ll find a creative, bold, and ever-evolving cuisine.

The good news for your lunch break: Bloempot is launching a brand new menu available for €37 (starter-main-dessert) from Tuesday to Friday at noon. And for those who can never say no to a bit of cheese, there’s a super-local cheese creation available as an extra.

The "Eyes Closed" Experience: The Ultimate Must-Do

For die-hard fans (or just those who love a good surprise), Bloempot is still offering its famous "Eyes Closed" menu for €80, available both at lunch and dinner. The concept? Let yourself be completely guided by the chef’s inspiration, paired with a food and drink pairing curated by Ilona Raux, the talented sommelier of the place. It's the perfect way to discover all the best that Flemish terroir has to offer, with or without alcohol.

Florent Ladeyn, for his part, is thrilled with how far they’ve come : “I’m very proud to see how Florence Grave and the team have adapted through our pop-up. It was a lovely interlude, but it’s time to go back home and evolve the experience even more!”
