SpongeBob SquarePants, a cult animated series from the 2000s, is making a big comeback with a huge marketing push. Yes, it is now possible to dine at the Krusty Krab restaurant (where SpongeBob works). And behind this stroke of genius is the Burger King chain. Indeed, some BK establishments have been transformed into the Krusty Krab. Fans of the little sponge can now experience the iconic restaurant while completely immersed in the familiar underwater world.
If the decoration of the restaurants has changed, so has the menu! Burger King has therefore redesigned its menu to fit the theme: sponge potatoes accompanied by a pink smoked sauce and also a pink sauce burger. For dessert, we find vanilla ice cream, strawberry and chocolate sauce to pay tribute to Patrick the starfish. New packaging featuring the characters accompanies everything.
