Every beginning of the year, a highly important gastronomic competition ranks the best chip shops in France. Of course, they are always in the Hauts-de-France region since it is an art that we master to perfection. So, let's unveil the happy winner!

Last year, the best chip shop in France was in Pas-de-Calais (La Friterie Hersinoise, Hersin-Coupigny), but now the North is proud to have the crown back! Yes, for the very first time, Chic Frite chip shop in Dunkirk has taken the top spot! If the establishment often ranked in the top 10, this year is truly their moment of glory! Speaking of the top 10... it's needless to say that it is ONLY occupied by chip shops from Hauts-de-France except for the 10th place which went to a chip shop in Angers.
