If some were betting on the Omnia (rue de Pas), others were already imagining Alcide becoming the first Lille broth. And you won! What could be better than choosing this mythical place to host a culinary concept that is just as legendary in Paris? "With its bright red sign visible from the Grand Place, Alcide is a restaurant not to be missed in Lille. It is also the oldest brewery in the city, dating back to 1880 thanks to Gaston Alcide, a Head Waiter in a grand Parisian brewery. In a baroque style, known for its traditional cuisine, red velvet benches, and stained glass ceiling, you will be transported directly into the decor of the time."

So, L'Alcide becomes the first bouillon in Lille. Just a reminder, here's what a bouillon is in the purest of Parisian traditions: "Our goal is to bring together all the great traditions of French cuisine at very affordable prices, made with fresh and high-quality products. You will of course find all the French classics: from snails to veal blanquette, from sausage mashed potatoes to rum baba or chocolate mousse. We offer a menu with starters starting at €1.50, main courses at the price of a menu in major American fast-food chains, and desserts that don't exceed €5.00."
The extra touch? It will be possible to reserve a table in advance but at extremely precise times: "you can book your table on www.alcidelille.com or call 03 20 40 80 00 from Tuesday to Sunday, but only between the following time slots: 11:45-12:00 and 18:45-19:00. Don't miss out on this unique dining experience!"
