Lille loves girls (or not)!
According to a ranking established by Femme Actuelle, the 5 best cities for women to live in are Strasbourg, Rennes, Bordeaux, Lyon, and Nantes. Lille doesn't even make it into the top 10 and ranks 14th, along with Rouen. Still, it's better than Dunkerque which is... 44th. Bummer.

To distinguish the most egalitarian of the 50 largest French municipalities, the magazine based its criteria on numbers spread across 4 main chapters: specific healthcare services, security, quality of life, and the actions of municipal authorities and 21 resulting indicators. The data was sourced from the ministries of Interior and Health, CAF, Insee, Citepa, Fubicy, Leboncoin...
