While in Île-de-France, the median salary soars to €58,000, the executives in Hauts-de-France come in second, tied with those from Centre-Val de Loire. But the best part is that they outshine regions like Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, which is the second-largest economy in the country. Their median? €52,000. A little triumph for our region that shows we know how to recognize talent here.

A Dynamic Boost from Lille

With 45% of the executives in the region concentrated in the Lille metropolis, it’s no surprise to see our region shining brightly. Lille particularly attracts companies in digital services and future-oriented jobs. But that's not all! Industry remains the champion of salaries. Executives in the industrial sector reach a median of €58,000, and if you work in pharmaceuticals, hold on tight: you can aim for €62,000.

A Few Shadows on the Horizon

Okay, not everything is perfect. Only 57% of executives saw their salaries increase this year, which is a little below the national average (60%). But let's be honest, in a region as dynamic as ours, there’s a good chance opportunities will continue to grow.

If you were looking for a reason not to leave the North, here’s a big one: we're well-paid here!
