Nomades is fundamentally a human and artistic adventure. These four artists, from different musical traditions, met on the Greek island of Ikaria in the summer of 2023. Dafné Kritharas, Jaklin Baghdasaryan, Éléonore Fourniau, and Emma Prat, although each has her own unique style, share a common sensitivity: the desire to convey stories of exile, love, and joy through music that transcends time and borders.
Joined by renowned musicians, they will reinterpret traditional repertoires from Armenia, Greece, Kurdistan, Turkey, Spain, and Algeria, infusing them with their own unique perspectives. This musical fusion will highlight the convergences of cultures and traditions, creating a bridge between East and West.

A repertoire full of history
The songs performed during this evening are not just melodies: they are fragments of stories, passed down from generation to generation. The songs tell tales of migrations, separations, reunions, creating a musical landscape that spans centuries of cultural mixing. Each artist brings their own story and unique voice, singing in their mother tongue or the language of their adopted country, weaving a rich and moving sound tapestry.
