This delicious recipe is the origin of the Canadian pizza chain Boston Pizza in April 2014. This technique gives a moist and incomparable richness, and is similar to how lasagnas are prepared!

To make this recipe (for 4 people) you will need:

- 4 pizza crusts
- 10 cl of tomato sauce
- 250 g of shredded mozzarella
- 70 g of sliced pepperoni or chorizo

Let's get serious and make some delicious pizza!

Preheat your oven to 220°C on the grill setting. Roll out 3 pizza dough rounds the size of your pan, and bake for 10 minutes until the dough puffs up and lightly browns. Flip and continue baking for one minute.

Take a high-edged pan and brush it with olive oil. Roll out the remaining raw pizza dough into a strip the size of the pan's edge.

At the bottom, place one of the pre-baked pizza dough rounds, and line the sides with a strip of the remaining raw dough.

Proceed as if making a regular pizza: tomato sauce, slices of chorizo, grated cheese, mozzarella. Feel free to add any other ingredients that make your mouth water! Repeat the process layering a disk until all ingredients are used up. Finally, place the last pre-baked pizza dough round on top and repeat the same process. Seal the edges with the dough. Finally, bake your pizza cake for 15 minutes in a 220°C oven.

Serve and above all, enjoy!

buon appetito!
