The very simple and 100% Ch'ti recipe for mussels with Maroilles

Ingredients for 6 people:

  • 2.5 kg of mussels
  • 1 small Maroilles cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of sour cream

Preparation:

First, clean the mussels. Remove the threads that connect them, then wash them in 2 salted water baths.

Cut the Maroilles cheese into small cubes and melt it in a pot with the sour cream. Mix well.

Add the mussels and stir well to coat them with the Maroilles sauce.

Once the mussels are open, add some parsley and you're ready to enjoy! Serve with some delicious fries drizzled with vinegar and you're all set!
