We forgot to check the UV index, but between us, we'll be able to wait a while before trading our grayish complexion for a nice spring tan.
A "atmospheric river" crosses France
In its latest bulletin of the week published on Monday, February 19, Météo France talks about an "atmospheric river". A disturbance fueled by tropical air (and therefore very humid), which starts its journey in the Northwest of France and crosses the entire country during the week. So, expect strong winds, heavy rainfall, and a slight drop in temperatures that will once again go below 10°C.
🌧️A partir de mercredi, les pluies seront marquées sur une bonne partie du territoire avec de fortes rafales de vent.

🌡️ Les températures vont diminuer, mais souvent proche de la normale, avec le retour de la neige en montagne à partir de 1000 m.

Showers resembling April showers and temperatures staying close to seasonal averages. Nothing surprising for February, even though we were starting to appreciate this mild winter. Good news for skiers: snowfall is expected starting at 1000 meters above sea level. Time to hit the slopes with full force!
