The Editor

Clearly, Lille's educational institutions are making waves internationally! This time, it's EDHEC Business School stealing the spotlight. In its ranking published this Monday, October 12, the prestigious Financial Times places its Executive MBA among the world's top 30. And that's not the only good news for this business school founded in Lille.

EDHEC claims 26th place worldwide

Every year, the Financial Times reveals its ranking of the best Executive MBAs—these programs designed for executives and leaders looking to develop their skills while advancing their careers. For this 2026 edition, EDHEC ranks 26th globally, climbing two spots compared to the previous year. The school confirms its presence in the global top 30 for the fourth consecutive year. A pretty impressive result for this institution founded in Lille in 1906, which today boasts several campuses across France and internationally.

Number 1 in the world for

satisfaction of its graduates

But the real achievement lies elsewhere. With an exceptional score of 9.84/10, EDHEC's Executive MBA simply clinches first place worldwide for overall satisfaction among its former students. And it's no fluke : this is already the third time in four years that the program has topped this indicator. Graduates particularly praise the quality of support, the closeness with instructors, and the professional development opportunities offered by the program. In other words, former students seem quite happy with their time at EDHEC. And clearly, they're not alone.

The world's second strongest alumni network

Another particularly interesting distinction : EDHEC also ranks second worldwide for the strength of its alumni network. This criterion notably measures the network's ability to facilitate professional advancement

career transitions, recruitment, business creation, and professional networking. No small advantage when you consider that your network can sometimes matter just as much as your diploma itself. For Véronique Carresse, director of the Executive MBA, these results especially reward the personalized support offered to participants and the strong ties maintained with the professional world.

New international recognition for a school born in Lille

Founded in 1906 in the capital of Flanders, EDHEC has since far exceeded the boundaries of the North. Its Lille campus, located in Roubaix, remains one of the symbols of its regional roots, even though the Executive MBA recognized by this ranking is now taught in Paris. The Financial Times rankings, which notably evaluate graduate careers, salaries, research, and international reach, therefore strengthen the reputation of this historic school. And with a 26th place worldwide, a first place for satisfaction, and a second for professional networkingfessional, EDHEC has every reason to be proud of its report card.
