During the famous festival Séries Mania, SNCF is setting up a unique experience right in the heart of Lille: the SNCF Studio. For three days, a night train parked on platform 9 at Lille Flandres station will be transformed into a true playground for series fans. One of the experiences is already promising to attract curious visitors: a life-sized escape game on board a train car.
An escape game on a night train
The concept is pretty simple… on paper! A night train car is completely transformed into a fictional set. Participants become passengers trapped in a scenario where they will have to face off against the greatest "villains" from series. The journey is scripted with puzzles, challenges, and immersive experiences. The experience has been designed to be accessible for kids, teens, and adults, with
different levels of gameplay. The goal: to solve the challenges before the antagonists take over. An escape game, but TV series style.A train transformed into a film set
This Escape Train is part of a larger initiative designed for Séries Mania: the SNCF Studio. The idea: to transform a train into a immersive studio around the world of series. For three days, the carriages become spaces dedicated to fiction and audiovisual creation. We will find the Cinema Car, where screenings, premieres, and special events entrusted to several personalities will be organized. Among the announced guests are writer Maxime Chattam and Claire Guyot, a famous voice actress known for being the French voice of Winona Ryder and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Immersive experiences all over the city
This installation is part of the expanded universe of Series Mania, which transforms Lille into the European capital of series every year. At the same time, an exhibition titled “Not Even Scared” will be presented at Tripostal. It explores the dark and fascinating characters of contemporary series through a sensory and narrative journey. Perfect for those who love a good thrill!
A wagon that’s sure to attract fans
With a scripted escape game, screenings, and an immersion behind the scenes of fiction, the SNCF Studio promises to be one of the most original spots at the festival this year. Honestly, solving puzzles while facing off against series villains… in a night train right in the heart of Lille, who could resist that?
