Everyone has their own star! A few weeks ago, the rapper JUL proudly carried the Olympic Flame in Marseille. In Lille, one of the favorite personalities of the French will be in the spotlight as it is none other than Dany Boon!

He's probably the favorite Ch'ti of the French. Dany Boon will have a very important role on July 2nd in Lille. He has been chosen to light the Olympic cauldron on the day of the Flame's passage through the capital of Flanders! The beloved child of the North, originally from Armentières, is a logical choice for Lille. The Flame is expected to arrive in Lille around 7:30 pm on July 2nd. Before that, it will pass through 7 cities around the metropolis and a big party will be organized here!
