Lille will soon be entirely paid when it comes to parking. We announced it to you a year ago already: 6 new areas of the city were going to become paid little by little. And this extension of paid parking takes effect in Moulins as soon as next week. Outch!

Attention residents and businesses of Lille-Moulins: it will soon be forbidden to park your car in a spot without paying for parking! The measure takes effect starting on February 12, 2024... But the City of Lille has already thought of everything by encouraging you to pay a subscription for residents. An accessible subscription of 25€ per car. So, why make the Moulins neighborhood a paid parking zone? Here are the motivations of the City: - "To free up parking spaces for residents; - To improve vehicle turnover and facilitate access to shops; - To encourage vehicle owners to use collective parking lots and garages; - To encourage people who come to work in Lille every day to travel on foot, by bike, or to use public transport."team sports and also help reduce air and noise pollution: 60% of carbon monoxide is emitted by cars and cars are 22 times noisier than public transportation".
