An immersive 360° show in La Treille
To amaze the people of Lille, Luminescence will set up in an iconic monument in the heart of the historic district of Lille: the Basilique Cathédrale Notre-Dame de la Treille. For the first time, 360° video mapping, spatialized 3D music, and light games come together to unveil Notre-Dame de la Treille like you've never seen it before!
"The projections extend the cathedral's translucent facade, delicately revealing every architectural detail, from its imposing foundations to the top of the vaults rising more than 30 meters high," they tell us to whet our appetite.
An enchanting artistic experience to enhance Lille's heritage
More than just a light festival, Luminescence's goal is truly to enhance French heritage. Here, in this emblematic place in Lille, the play of lights will perfect the artistic experience to (re)discover La Treille differently and the richness of our heritage.
"LUMINESCENCE relies on cutting-edge technology and expertise in 3D modeling that meticulously documents every architectural element. This level of precision allows 360-degree video projections to be deposited to the centimeter on all details of the nave, dome, columns, walkways, choir, and transepts.
The sound, on the other hand, has been fully spatialized in 3D to move each harmony in space, in total synchrony with the projected visuals. Thus, the audience will have the illusion that the sound is moving all around them.

You can already book your tickets to attend the dazzling show. Luminescence will be in Lille from September 6 to October 31, with 2 to 3 performances per evening from Wednesday to Saturday starting at 7:30 pm.
