In 1999, we compared our Charizards at recess. In 2026, we're talking about trading, holographic, and limited editions. The Pokémon fever has never really left Lille; it has just grown up with us. And this weekend, it's setting up shop at the Lillenium shopping center for a Pokémon trading fair that promises to awaken some memories (and maybe lead to some fantastic finds).
A whole day to buy, sell, and trade
Organized in partnership with the Azuria association, this special Pokémon day is split into two parts. From 10 AM to 6 PM, it’s all about buying and selling Pokémon cards with over 15 exhibitors. There will be binders filled with shiny cards, first-generation cards, special editions... The kind of stall where you might find yourself staring for ten minutes at a holographic card, whispering, “Wait... I had that one.”

Starting from 2 PM until 6 PM, the swap meet takes over. You bring your duplicates, your incomplete sets, and those cards you assessed too quickly on the playground. The idea is to trade, chat, compare, and negotiate kindly. In a family-friendly and secure atmosphere, everyone—kids and parents alike (who, let's be honest, can sometimes be the most involved)—is welcome.
An Intergenerational Phenomenon
Pokémon isn’t just a card game. It's a nostalgic treasure for the '90s generation, a phenomenon rejuvenated by Pokémon Go, and a passion that spans ages. Some come to complete a collection, others to start their first one. And then there are the curious folks who want to understand why a little cardboard card can sometimes be worth more than a gaming console.
Experts will be on hand to appraise cards and guide collectors. It’s a great opportunity to find out if your collection has hidden treasures!
