As usual, L'Internaute has released its ranking of the best high schools in France in 2024. The top high school in the country, with the highest score, is the private high school Stanislas in Paris, which has been at the center of several controversies in recent weeks. High schools in the Paris region dominate the top of the list. It's not until the 24th spot that we see the first high school outside of the Île-de-France region, which is the Lacordaire high school in Marseille.

The ranking is based on data from the ministry weighted with their methodology that takes into account 3 criteria: the success rate in the baccalaureate, the access rate from the second year to the baccalaureate within the establishment, and the rate of honors obtained by baccalaureate holders from the establishment. Only high schools that had more than 100 candidates for the baccalaureate exams are included. In total, 4,300 high schools in France (general, technical, and vocational) were studied.

What about the best high schools in Lille?

At the scale of Lille, the top 5 is exclusively occupied by private high schools. The first place is awarded...At the Lycée Thérèse d'Avila, they scored an impressive 19.30/20, with a 100% success rate at the baccalaureate exam. Nationally, this school in Lille is ranked 52nd!
