Lille, the city of departure and festivities
To celebrate the occasion, Lille is hosting the Grand Depart and will become the epicenter of global cycling for a few days. From July 4 to 6, Lille will transform into a big popular party to welcome the Tour Fan Park, with activities, concerts, bike workshops, and brand caravans ready to distribute loads of goodies.
Among the Tour's long-standing partners, Continental has made a name for itself as a major co-partner of the event since 2018. The German brand is stepping up its initiatives on the road and at the Fan Park to make a lasting impression from the very first stage in Lille.

An artistic black banana signed by Onemizer to grab from the caravan
After handing out thousands of bananas in 2023 and 2024, Continental is back this year with a special collector's banana. Black and artsy, designed by the street artist Onemizer. Every day, 21 bananas will be tossed from the caravan along the Tour route. The game-changing detail? One of them contains an official replica of a stage winner's medal from 2024. Maybe it belongs to Pogačar, Cavendish, or Girmay, slipped into your black banana, who knows?
The banana, far from just a simple goodie, is already shaping up to be the most coveted item among the crowd this year. In Lille, the great treasure hunt kicks off!
Meet us in Lille to try your luck
Want to get your hands on the collector banana? Head to the Fan Park in Lille from July 4th to 6th, and keep an eye out for the Continental caravan, which will be giving away 21 bananas per stage (Why 21 bananas? Because there are 21 stages in the Tour, and Continental sponsors each stage winner). But watch out: only 1 banana is the lucky one, the one that holds the medal. If you find the one with the medal, victory will clearly be yours.
And if you leave with just a t-shirt, a photo, and stars in your eyes, that'll be pretty great too!
Continental doesn't do things halfway
In addition to those famous collector bananas, Continental really goes all out on the goodies: they're also going to "throw in some
Wheels… finally, keychain wheels that also double as shopping cart tokens! Handy, fun, and thoughtfully designed so that no one leaves empty-handed. This initiative is part of the brand's desire to share the love of cycling with as many fans as possible, while offering lasting memories.
