The tram is out of the tunnel
After several weeks of renovation work and compliance updates, the Roubaix and Tourcoing lines are back in full service starting from September 1st. And to make sure your Sunday isn’t another patience test, the frequency is improving: every ten minutes on the common trunk and every twenty minutes on the branches. This means you can enjoy a little more smoothness for your strolls, cultural outings, or late brunch returns.

The metro is also getting with the times
On the metro side, there’s some exciting news! Line 2 now runs until 1:30 AM on Saturday nights, perfect for getting home after that last drink. The first departures have been moved up to 5 AM from Monday to Saturday and 6 AM on Sundays, so you can catch those early trains from the station. And here’s a great update for regulars: the partial terminus at Fort de Mons is going away. From now on, all trains will go straight to CH Dron.

While Waiting for 2026
These changes mainly signify a return to normal after a challenging summer for many users, but they also lay the groundwork for the big transformation planned for 2026, with the arrival of new rolling stock. In the meantime, there's still the simple joy of watching a tram go by... on time.
