The study, based on data from the Ministerial Statistical Service of Internal Security (SSMSI), ranks 119 municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants. A score out of 20 is assigned to each city based on the number of attempted homicides, intentional assaults, burglaries, and sexual violence.
