We knew about haunted houses, but terrifying caravans were a bit less common. For Halloween, Le Grand Bleu in Lille welcomes a quirky creation imagined by Compagnie Bakélite. From the outside, just a simple caravan. Once you close the door behind you? Let's say camping takes on a slightly less relaxing turn.

17 minutes locked in a horror caravan

Very soberly named The Horror Caravan, this experience takes the form of an object theater show created by the Rennes-based Bakélite company. At each showing, only 17 spectators are invited on board. For 17 minutes, darkness, repurposed objects, and little theatrical "tricks" will attempt to awaken some of your fears. The show is suitable from age 10, and five sessions are scheduled during the afternoon, at 4:30pm, 5pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm, and 7pm. And rather

Here's the good news : the experience costs just 3 € per person. At that price, you can almost accept losing a few years of life expectancy.

A Whole Night of Horror in Lille

The caravan is actually part of a major Night of Horror organized at Grand Bleu and in the Bois-Blancs neighborhood for Halloween. From the afternoon onwards, several free activities will be on offer : temporary tattoos, creative workshops, terrifying makeup, candy hunts and pumpkin workshops. At 8pm, the vibe will shift to the cinema with a cine-concert around King Kong, before wrapping up the evening at 9:30pm with the free DJ set Dance Macabre. Grooving zombies, disco vampires and sweaty ghosts are expected on the dancefloor. We'll let you pick your side.
