From the Museum to the Controller: The Event that Shakes Things Up
Organized by Crédit Agricole Nord de France (patron of the Louvre Lens museum) and Lille Esport, the event "Hall of Frames" marks a first in France: bringing together art and video game culture. On-site, 128 players will compete on stage in the museum's auditorium, under the watchful eyes of star streamers like Étoiles (with over 1.2 million subscribers, known for cultural content) and Sakor Irb. They'll be live-commentating the matches... between two millennia-old statues and a Venus from another age. We love the contrast!

An international lineup and an anticipated audience
The cast is worthy of the greatest tournaments, featuring the best players in the world upfront: the French player Glutonny, the Japanese players Shuton, Akakikusu, Raru, Tea, and the American Zomba are all expected. Let's just say that Lens is going to look like a giant arena for a day. And it's all going to be broadcasted live on Twitch, making sure the hype crosses borders (and eras).
An event that champions inclusion
Behind the controllers, there is purpose: the proceeds from the day will be donated to Famille 2 Geek, a regional association that uses gaming to support people with disabilities and fight against cyberbullying. It's a wonderful way to show that video games, far from being just a pastime, can also create connections and change mindsets.
The Louvre-Lens, geek style
The tournament is part of the...Gameday, a day dedicated to video games and digital arts. Pixel art, retro gaming, virtual reality, creative workshops, themed flash visits… The Louvre-Lens shows that you can come for esports, stay for the art, and marvel as a family. Between ancient masterpieces and a duel of Pikachu vs Mario, there will be plenty to feast your eyes on.
