Climbing enthusiasts, whether you're a beginner or completely new to it, mark your calendars for the weekend of Saturday September 7 and Sunday 8! For two days, the Arkose climbing gyms, located all around France, will be hosting their open house days. It's a wonderful event where you can come and (re)discover this sport for free, no matter your skill level!

An activity accessible to everyone
How does it work? It's really simple! Put on some comfortable clothes that aren't too delicate and not too baggy, so you can see your little feet while you climb. If you already have climbing shoes, bring them along, otherwise you can rent some on-site for free! If you’re a beginner, the 4.5-meter high blocks will be available to you, with thick mats placed on the ground to catch you. Whether you’re more of a morning person or an afternoon enthusiast, the Lille climbing centers are ready to welcome you from 7 AM to midnight. One offers the chance to experience classic bouldering, while the other lets you try climbing with a rope on 13-meter walls, starting from the age of six, with a qualified instructor. An experience to enjoy alone or with others
Whether you're solo, with friends, or family, you can dive into a climbing session since children as young as 4 can join in on the fun! Just like ski slopes, a color code ranging from yellow to purple will guide you through the difficulty levels of the different walls, and of course, the Arkose team members are here to answer all your questions. And because climbing makes you hungry, the Arkose canteens are ready to serve you lunch and dinner, featuring delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes made with local and seasonal ingredients. The goal is simple: enjoy yourself while respecting the environment. So, shall we climb in September?
