For Halloween, the Jardin des Plantes greenhouses will host quite an unusual adventure. The scenario? Two botanist explorers and a scientist discover a rare plant with mysterious properties. But on their way back, their plane crashes in an unknown region, caught between tropical jungle and arid desert. The survivors are scattered and the precious plant vanishes. That's when visitors come into play. Your mission: explore the greenhouses, observe the plants and solve a series of riddles to find the mysterious discovery. Except, of course, things won't go exactly as planned.
A mad scientist, a gorilla and goblins roaming the greenhouses
Because during this expedition, several creatures could well complicate the research. A mad scientist, a gorilla and strange goblins will hide among the vegetation, turning this botanical stroll into quite an eventful adventure. We knew tropical greenhouses for their exotic plants. A little less for their inhabitants with evil tendencies. The route will be accessible from 10am to 12pm then from 2pm to 5pm, with an experience designed to be shared with family or friends.
Witchcraft workshops and Halloween creations
And the activities don't stop at this expedition. In the morning, from 10am to 12pm, visitors can participate in a witch's balm making workshop, using ingredients and plants with mysterious scents. In the afternoon, it's time for
ux creative activities including an engraving workshop featuring terrifying animals. Bats, spiders, ravens, and black cats can come to life on polystyrene plates before being printed. Stories and games centered around spiders will also help you discover these little creatures that have definitely earned quite the reputation at Halloween.
