2024 is clearly the year of Asterix! Our favorite Gauls are celebrating their 65th anniversary this year and will soon be the heroes of a brand new virtual reality escape game, in Lille and in several locations in France. Asterix: Mission Potions! will arrive on September 7th at Virtual Room.
A missing ingredient for the potion
After Batman and Aladdin, it is now Asterix and Obelix that you will have to help in their quest. Here's the deal: a secret ingredient is missing to complete Panoramix's famous potion. As brave adventurers,"Apprentice druids, you will have to embark on a journey to find him, but the path may be filled with challenges and surprises!"
Immerse yourself in the heart of the Gaulish village for 50 minutes, where you will experience epic adventures alongside your favorite heroes. Of course, you will also be able to face many Romans and, like a true Gaul, defeat them!
A virtual reality escape game
Here, there are no actors or puzzles to solve in order to access the key that will open the chest leading you to a new room (if you've ever played an escape game, you know what we mean), as everything is done in virtual reality! With a headset on, you can become a real Gaul and even interact with other players.
To join the adventure, head to the Virtual Room in Lille. Each session is played between 2 and 4 players and is accessible from 8 years old. You can even bring your English-speaking friends as the escape game is available in both French and English.
