70 km for a good cause

No half measures with Axel Allétru! On April 12, 2025, he took on the cobblestones of the Paris-Roubaix Challenge with a very special goal: to support research against ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a disease that affects his friend Olivier Goy. Through his dÉ...;fi #JEPEUX2025, Axel has gathered thousands of supporters to raise funds for the Brain Institute. Every kilometer traveled has helped raise money for research, totaling a wonderful amount of €10,500.

But this challenge wasn't just played out on an individual level. 160 people, cyclists and non-cyclists alike, joined Axel on this journey, each with the desire to prove that we can make a difference together. A true peloton of momentum, a call to collective action to advance the cause, break the isolation of patients, and encourage vital research.

Axel Allétru is not one to settle for an easy path. Paralyzed at 20 after a motocross accident, he has managed to turn this challenge into an opportunity to reinvent himself, becoming a champion in para-swimming, then a rally-raid driver, and even a winner of the Dakar in 2020. Yes: he won this legendary global race against able-bodied competitors. Resilience? It's a word he embodies fully.

His documentary Holeshot, which will be aired on April 17th on Canal+, allowed participants in the challenge to draw from his energy and determination.

Beyond the athletic achievement, the challenge #JEPEUX2025 is a true model of solidarity. Besides the goal of covering 70 km, it was also a way for Axel Allétru to raise awareness and mobilize people. Every pedal stroke was a message: together, we can make a difference. Many influencers, athletes, everyday people, and businesses joined in this movement.

What’s the outcome? Funds raised, countless smiles shared, and renewed hopes for the future. Axel Allétru has once again proven that human will is a powerful force that can move mountains (or, in his case, cobblestones!).
