Lines to the Savoyard Stations… Making a Long-Awaited Return
Interrupted since 2019, these special “ski” lines are making their comeback just in time for the winter season. Two routes are involved, with a simple promise: leave in the evening, sleep on the way, and arrive at the foot of the slopes by morning.
The Ski73 line connects Paris to several iconic stations: Aime-la-Plagne, Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Val d’Isère, and Tignes. Meanwhile, the Ski74 line travels through Belgium and northern France, making a stop in Lille, before heading to Lyon and then on to Les Menuires and Val Thorens.
A fantastic plan for Lille residents who want to hit the mountains without flying or spending hours driving.
A clever alternative to go skiing without a car
These routes will operate from December 19, 2025, to March 15, 2026, perfectly timed for the entire ski season. And for those not on the direct line, connections are arranged in Lyon, Chambéry, or Annecy, making it easy to link up with other ski resorts.
Basically, this option checks a lot of boxes: more economical, simpler to organize, and just more chill. You hop on the bus with your bag, get a bit of sleep (more or less, of course), and wake up to the mountains. Not a bad way to kick off your trip!
A great piece of news that will surely attract ski lovers, spontaneous weekenders, and anyone looking for a hassle-free getaway.
