A Fairy-Tale Afternoon for Young and Old
Less than 10 minutes from Lille, the Marcq-en-Baroeul racetrack transforms into a mini fairy-tale village to kick off the magic of Christmas. Starting at 2 PM, an associative village will bring together nearly 30 stands featuring jewelry, decorations, pottery, textile creations, stuffed animals, African crafts, pouches, candles… everything you need to find a last-minute gift or simply treat yourself.
Families can also enjoy: Santa Claus in his sleigh, a Christmas market for kids, elves frolicking around, a balloon sculptor, creative workshops, face painting, and a big tree that sparkles like a Christmas movie.
At 6 PM, the musical parade of the Marching Band will take over outside, with free hot chocolate and mulled wine being served.

A fireworks show by a world champion
The most anticipated moment will arrive at 7 PM. The city promises a spectacular firework display designed by Lux Factory, led by the sacred pyrotechnician world champion 2025 at the Montreal Festival.
Atmosphere: “The Colors of Christmas”, featuring illuminated stilt walkers to guide the public and a show lasting twenty minutes!
