BEER FestiVAL in Valenciennes: foam, concerts, and a lively atmosphere

Head over to the Cité des Congrès in Valenciennes for a brand new craft beer festival hosted by L’Échappée Bière. With around twenty breweries, concerts, tattoo artists, food trucks, a kids' area, and even axe throwing! Friday and Saturday until 1 AM. Entry: €6 in advance, €8 at the door with a free beer included.

The Wazemmes Carnival Sets the Neighborhood on Fire

Marching bands, costume contests, giants, concerts in the bars… The carnival is back this Saturday, May 17, Fiesta version lille3000. Workshops starting at 15:30 under the Halles, a parade through the streets, and a lively atmosphere until late. Costumes are highly recommended.
