Modern art has set up camp at Tripostal with Pom Pom Pidou (as part of FIESTA), an immersive exhibition where over 200 major works from the Centre Pompidou tell a surprising story of creation from the 20th century to today. We're going to visit the biggest tall ships in the world with the Voiles de Légende 

Attention all Lille residents craving some maritime air: this summer adventure will have you itching to set sail! The biggest tall ships in the world await you from July 10 to 13 in Dunkirk, the city of Corsairs, which is only 30 minutes from Lille (by TGV). This is all for the arrival of the Voiles de Légende, a major nautical event in the city. What's the idea? To gather traditional and historic tall ships, as well as prestigious boats, for a stunning spectacle and meet the crews. From the famous Belem to the Duchesse-Anne, more than 45 ships are waiting for you!

Fireworks and concerts everywhere in the metropolis

On July 13th, it's a celebration all around the Lille metropolis! Villeneuve d’Ascq treats you to a musical fireworks display at 11 PM on the Canteleu plain. In Marcq-en-Barœul, starting at 7 PM, Jeremy Frérot takes the stage before an amazing firework show. La Madeleine celebrates women’s voices with Nadia, Assia, Éve Angeli, and Indra. Haubourdin-Loos, Hem, Roubaix, Marquette-lez-Lille, and Wambrechies also offer walks, concerts, and firework displays. A festive Sunday to enjoy to the fullest!
