The Editor

Let's be honest: this is the kind of “Lille-style” event that we thought was tucked away in the drawer of memories, somewhere between blurry photos from the 2000s and the nostalgia of big family outings.

A XXL comeback in a (very) well-known place for the people of Lille

The Lille Fair is making its return from Thursday, February 19 to Monday, February 23, 2026, right in the heart of winter break (Zone B), at Lille Grand Palais. What's the idea? To capture the fair and expo spirit “like before” (home, shopping, discoveries, demonstrations…), but with a real “weekend outing” vibe: perfect for wandering around, snacking, trying things out, stumbling upon something unexpected, and leaving with the feeling that you've spent the afternoon in a mini-covered town.

Thursday Nights: Vinyl Funk/Disco, Yes Please!

Big moment incoming: Thursday, February 19th at 7 PM, with DJ Masterbafunk spinning some fabulous vinyl funk and disco. It's the perfect plan to pop in for “just an hour” after work, and end up staying way longer than you planned.

Indoor pétanque, giant bar… and a “mini getaway” vibe right in Lille

You’ll also discover two pétanque courts (OBUT® and Ricard®) that are running all day long. Yes, indoor pétanque: it’s like our Lille twist, and we love it! And for a “stylish break”: the Moana Bar, a 200 m² space boasting a Bali atmosphere. In other words: you come for a fair, and leave with a little tropical getaway in your mind (even though it’s February).

Vintage, carbonnade... and fun activities all around

On the program side, the Fair clearly embraces variety: a Vintage & Business Market by Again spanning over 100 m² for treasure hunting, demonstrations and shows, and even live cooking led by Maxime Leplat (world champion of Flemish carbonnade - yes, it really exists, and yes, we want to taste it).

Add to that some Brazilian animations by Animation Brésil, Afro-Brazilian percussion with Capanga, urban dance, live painting (Demaiter and A2H), a Zentangle workshop for ages 15 and up, kids' workshops for up to 10 years, and inflatable fun with Yakasauter... and you quickly get the vibe: whether you come as a couple, with friends, in a group, or solo, there will always be something to do (or to watch).

Why everyone's talking about it (and why it feels like a Lille classic)

The game-changing detail: this return after 14 years of absence.  The Lille Fair is truly iconic.

the kind of event that mixes generations and excitement: you can meet people who come “to compare serious stuff,” others “just for the vibe,” and you in the middle, hesitating between indoor pétanque, a vintage market, and a break at the bar. And honestly? In a city where the Braderie is like religion, finding a big indoor fair felt like a little taste of something missing.

A XXL contest for a chance at the jackpot

And as if the event wasn't already spectacular enough, the Lille Expo Fair is teaming up with us, Le Bonbon, for a completely extraordinary contest. The prizes? A trip for 4 people offered by Ternélia, a boxing glove signed by Mike Tyson, and even a Fiat 500 CC Dolce Vita. To participate, all you need to do is buy an entry ticket (great news: it’s currently 50% off with the code FDL26, making it just €5.99). The contest closes on Sunday, February 22 at 12 PM, with the draw at 5 PM, under the supervision of a notary. Perfect for strolling through the aisles… with the very real idea of driving away! 🍀
