Knights, dryads, and equestrian tournament battles
Starting at 10:30 AM at the ponds of the 7 fountains, the festivities kick off with a showdown between knights and vikings (it's going to be intense!). Following that, we'll have the dryads, an introduction to fencing, and a dance performance to set the tone for the day. For lunch, the caterer Tourne Bride will pull out all the stops with a roasted pig and baked potatoes (reservation required).
What about the afternoon? It's going to be even better: vaulting, falconry, equestrian shows, and battles on the agenda, leading up to the highlight of the event: an equestrian tournament at 5:30 PM and a spectacular equestrian fire show starting at 8:30 PM. There's something for everyone, from families to fans of medieval series!
A real medieval village for a day
Throughout the day, visitors can stroll through a handcrafted market, discover recreated camps, try out some makeup, or dive into typical medieval activities. It's free, open to everyone, and it promises a timeless ambiance just a stone's throw from Lille.
