Sometimes, the best good deals are the simplest ones. From June 1st to June 14th, the operation Everyone to the Restaurant is back across France with its famous slogan: « Your guest is our guest ». In simple terms, buy one meal and get the second one for free! And in Lille, several spots are joining in, from charming taverns to more exotic restaurants.
The perfect excuse to try a place that catches your eye
Launched in 2009 by chef Alain Ducasse and Laurent Plantier, this operation has become a much-anticipated event for lovers of fine dining. The concept remains the same: reserve a menu specially created for the event and enjoy a second menu for free for your accompanying guest. In Lille, the timing couldn’t be better. The terraces are filling up, evenings are getting longer, and the desire to go out is seriously back! As a result, this gourmet fortnight is the perfect opportunity to discover a restaurant without breaking the monthly budget.

and African cuisine or Greek restaurant: there's something for everyone! What we love about this Lille edition is the wonderful variety of participating places. Fans of Northern cuisine can, for example, book a table at Al' Fameuse Franquette, Le Palais de la Bière, Le Napoléon, La Taverne Flamande, or even Ch'ti Charivari in Lomme.

Feeling like switching things up a bit? Head over to Yaya Lille for a Greek getaway that feels like a vacation, or try Ububuntu to explore a generous and flavorful African cuisine. If big tables and outdoor meals are your thing, La Criée Lomme is also among the participating establishments. Over in Gambetta, Le Burj Comedia is part of the selection with its well-known lush decor loved by locals. In other words, whether you’re in the mood for welsh, fish, meze, or world cuisine, chances are there’s a table calling your name.

A great deal that often goes fast
Like every year, the available spots are limited, and some places fill up quickly, especially on weekends. If you were planning a lunch with colleagues, a romantic dinner, or just a meal with a friend you haven’t seen in three months despite your “let’s meet soon” promises, now is probably the time to book. Because let’s be honest: a free menu makes booking so much easier!
