September means back to school, the return of lightweight sweaters, and that very serious period when you suddenly discover a passion for methodically stocking your wine collection. And just a few minutes from Lille, a specialist address in wine clearance sales could well make the operation easier. From September 15 to 30, 2026, Affaires de vins is organizing its Wine Fair in Saint-André-lez-Lille. With a pretty convincing promise: new arrivals, tastings, and above all a selection of bottles marked down by -20 to -40%.
Bottles at 2 or 3 euros and some under 2 euros
Here, clearance sales aren't an operation organized twice a year to shift a few boxes forgotten in a corner. It's the whole concept of the place. Destock Wines is linked to STIC Wines, a northern company specializing in wine clearance since 1982. It notably buys batches from overstock, canceled orders, old vintages, or labeling errors, before then
bring back to market. The company is announcing today a catalog of several hundred references, one million bottles in stock and approximately four million bottles traded each year. In Saint-André, the wine shop now allows individuals to benefit from it directly. For its 2026 Wine Fair, a selection will see discounts of -20, -30 and up to -40%, with small prices announced around 2 or 3€ per bottle and even a few references under the 2€ mark. Low price doesn't mean a bottle chosen at random, though. The wine shop explains that wines are tasted once before purchasing batches from the winemakers, then again upon arrival at the warehouse. The selection offered in Saint-André is then made from the approximately 300 references available at headquarters. On site, it's a sommelière who selects the wines offered in the shop and advises customers based on their tastes, budget, or the food and wine pairings they're looking for. A consistent approach with STIC Wines, which also indicates it conducts tastings before selecting the clearance opportunities it purchases. In other words, there's no need to memorize Languedoc appellations by heart to leave with something decent. That works for us.
Up to -40% and special offers on magnums
For this autumn edition, new references should join the shelves and several promotions will be offered throughout the Wine Fair. In addition to discounts of up to -40% on a selection, Destock Wines announces special offers on several magnums of red, white and rosé wine, as well as Prosecco. And to avoid leaving with twelve bottles simply because the label was pretty, the wine shop will also organize tastings on both Saturdays of the Wine Fair. A chance to taste before filling your trunk. A methodwhich has nonetheless proven its worth.
A still fairly under-the-radar address near Lille
The shop is located at 20 Avenue de la Résistance in Saint-André-lez-Lille, just a few kilometers from Lille's city center. It has parking and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Affaires de vins The address opened its doors to the public in 2025, allowing for the first time to directly benefit from the clearance model previously developed by STIC Wines for professionals. A loyalty card also lets you earn 5% cashback with each visit, while special rates are offered to restaurateurs, associations, and people organizing large events like a wedding. And since wine fairs are indeed in full swing across France in September, this one at least has the merit of playing a slightly different card: rummaging through clearance lots and sometimes finding a bottle cheaper than a glass on a terrace.
