Le Pubstore: a delight since 1969

Yes, since 1969. And it was indeed your parents who recommended this place to you... Who themselves received the tip from their parents. In short: Pubstore is a true institution like few others in Lille. It's simple: in the Old Lille neighborhood, it is the oldest place still delighting both locals and tourists! In charge of the kitchens? The same chefs since 1985: Jean Jacques and Théo!

A generous menu with quirky names

Since its opening, Pubstore has always had the same quirky menu with names that bring a smile: "The dishes "Le King Kong", "Les Bijoux de Famille", "La Bouffe Parisienne", "Le Violon Dinde" and "L’Epate à La Nana" are still there because Pubstore remains Pubstore since 1969, with its completely homemade cuisine made with fresh and flavorful ingredients." A section of the menu features these "pub classics" that have built their reputation over the years. In addition, there are more modern dishes like fish & chips (simply named "une frite à la mer"), dishes from the North, and vegetarian options. And let's not forget the brunchstore on Saturdays and Sundays at lunchtime

A seventies atmosphere for a trip back in time

The Pubstore plays the vintage card with a carefully designed decor that propels you straight into the 70s back to the time of the establishment's first services. You'll find color despite the dim lights, music from the era, classic games, a retro mannequin... A quirky atmosphere that makes it a unique and atypical spot. No fancy stuff here, no rooftop to raise a "cheers" to your IG followers, no private courtyard to "get some fresh air"... Just simplicity, like we love to find in Lille and as they say so well: "Sorry, but we don't have a terrace, outdoor courtyard or rooftop... but we have air conditioning in summer and heating in winter!" Simple, effective.

And with all this, it's easy to understand why the Pubstore is the best.Old restaurant in Old Lille still in operation! The only thing to wish you: a long and happy life to you! 😊🎉
