And it is in this particularly chic setting that the 49R has set up its kitchen to delight the most discerning foodies of Lille.

On site, the charm immediately works its magic as the place has been enhanced by a contemporary decoration. Inside, you will discover a warm ambiance, rooms bathed in light, velvet furniture that adds a cozy touch, a midnight blue ceiling... The highlight is the absolutely superb terrace that overlooks a private courtyard. It's calm and rural, and we assure you that with the snap of a finger, you can forget about the hustle and bustle of Lille.

A carefully selected team to enhance the moment

When it comes to the team, you can expect something really great. And in this case, you won't be disappointed. The maestros at 49R have impressive backgrounds that would make anyone blush. In the kitchen, it's Chef Maxence Paris who dazzles. He worked for over 6 years at BON-BON, a 2 Michelin star restaurant, as the sous chef under Christophe Hardiquest. He forms a perfect duo with Alexandre Dathy, sommelier and dining room manager. He trained with Benoit Bernard at La Laiterie, then with Anthony Chevalier at La Part des Anges, before spending over 6 years at Rouge Barre where he created and managed the entire wine cellar. It was his meeting with Constance, a former employee at Méert, that allowed 49R to become what it is today: "I have always..."."Initially managed the 49R for over 3 years as a seminar venue, dedicated to companies and private clients looking to host clients or friends in a pleasant and suitable setting. My meeting with Alexandre allowed us to transform the space into a restaurant, trying to offer everything one seeks when dining away from home: comfort, good food, good drinks," she explains. Anything else to add? The gamble paid off!
