Bistro vibe with friends & big tables

The Casseroles Lilloises is the perfect mix of a Parisian broth like Chartier and a brasserie à la Lipp, but with a 100% Lille "friends' bistro" vibe. The place is huge and just right for hanging out!whether with 2 or 30 friends, and I promise, there's no need to shout to be heard thanks to top-notch soundproofing (it’s perfection).

And if you get a little hungry at 3 PM? No worries, they serve non-stop, ready to satisfy your sudden cravings for beef bourguignon or pasta with maroilles.

Traditional dishes (but incredibly delicious)

At Casseroles Lilloises, everything is homemade with fresh, seasonal ingredients: egg mayo, melting bone marrow, smoked salmon, generous terrine, and especially a homemade foie gras with a quality-price ratio that would make fancy restaurants blush. When it comes to dishes, we can't resist the beef tongue that brings back memories of Sunday lunches at grandma's, or the ultra-creamy coquillettes with maroilles cheese, served with big chunks of ham (my personal favorite).

And of course, the classics: ribeye, knife-cut tartare, mustard sauce andouillette… with unlimited homemade fries to top it all off (well, the salad too, just to ease our conscience).

Homemade desserts that everyone agrees on

And because a great restaurant is also judged by its desserts (and at Les Casseroles Lilloises, there’s plenty of choice), we wholeheartedly recommend the profiteroles, the tarte tatin, and especially the flaming crêpes Suzette right before your eyes, a completely unique experience that will quickly become your new sweet obsession. The rum baba is also on the menu (and the rum flows generously, it's a bonus).

Finally, we applaud Thomas, one of the masters of the house, a passionate soul who loves to share the story behind his dishes and will leave you wanting to come back even before you’ve stepped out!
