Gelato & Coffee: a frozen paradise, Italian style

In the heart of Vieux-Lille, Laurent, the super friendly manager of Gelato & Coffee, has been delighting the whole neighborhood with his artisanal ice creams for several years. Here, there are no pretenses: it’s all about 100% natural, made from carefully selected ingredients (like thebean-to-bar chocolate from Hill Bar, their little brother who is a cocoa expert). It's simple: tasting these artisanal ice creams is like taking a direct trip to Italy, no layovers.
Must-try flavors and some unique gems

It's hard to resist their signature flavors like the ultra-decadent pistachio ice cream (famous all over Lille), or the Sicilian orange sorbet that brings to mind the refreshing taste of Italian lemonades under the blazing sun. And a special shout-out for their surprising chocolate sorbet, an intensely pleasurable experience that doesn’t use cream, showcasing the rich flavor of cocoa.
If you're looking to switch things up from classic vanilla and chocolate, you can also try their creations like frangipane ice cream, meringue lemon, or the utterly delicious stracciatella. The selection is huge and changes with the seasons: it’s no wonder this spot gets packed as soon as the sun makes an appearance!

Even when the sun plays hide and seek, Laurent keeps delighting us with his famous homemade Liège waffles warmed up in a flash, perfect for warming up on rainy afternoons. Add to that some mochaccinos or a nice hot chocolate, and you've got the perfect recipe for a comforting break, even when it’s chilly in Lille.
