Series from around the world premiering
Series Mania is the perfect opportunity to discover the new series that everyone will be talking about before anyone else. Like So Long, Marianne, which takes us to the Greek islands of the 60s and tells us the legendary love story of singer and poet Leonard Cohen with his muse Marianne Ihlen. Or La Flamme, a parody of The Bachelor that will surely keep you laughing.The World Does Not Exist, with Niels Schneider in the role of a journalist. Or Ourika, the new explosive detective series signed by Booba. In total, there are nearly 52 series that are being unveiled to us, all for free.
The festival also celebrates the hard work of directors, screenwriters, and actors. Prestigious guests are invited to receive, or not, an award, including Kelly Rutherford (aka the mom from Gossip Girl), Peter Mullan, Patricia Arquette, as well as French stars: Clémentine Célarié, Audrey Fleurot, Camélia Jordana, and Laurent Lafitte. Several rounds of awards will be given in front of the passionate audience: the two main ones are the international competition and the international panorama, presided over respectively by the French-American director and screenwriter .Zal Batmanglij and writer Douglas Kennedy. They will be followed by the French competition, the award for best comedy, and the short format competition. Eclectic categories to showcase all genres!
A Festival of Parallel Activities
To discuss the latest news about series, a cycle of exciting conferences is planned: how to make a story sensitive, the soft power of romantic comedies... But also all kinds of booksignings and live recordings of cinephile podcasts. An alternative journey into the world of series is also within your reach thanks to the exhibition Behind the Scenes, which highlights all the hidden jobs in series.
And if you weren't convinced yet, know that during the ceremony.ie opening night of the festival on March 15th, you will be able to attend the European premiere of "The Three-Body Problem", a new series from the creators of "Game of Thrones", returning with a major project for Netflix. For the closing ceremony, the first episode of the series that won the Grand Prix will be screened. And everything is planned for those who cannot attend: the event will be streamed online.
A Meeting Place
If some people enjoy the comfort of their home to watch their favorite series in complete peace, others dream of meeting their favorite stars in real life. Luckily, Séries Mania is making every effort to make the television industry connect with its audience. Every evening before the screenings of the International Competition, at the Nouveau Siècle in the heart of Lille, the projection teams are there to welcome attendees, making them feel like celebrities walking on the red carpet.s parade on a red carpet worthy of the grandest ceremonies, open to the public.

Every morning, the festival will announce the celebrities present in the evening, those who will walk the red carpet for a photocall, interviews with journalists and to meet their fans. So, it's your chance to get close to your favorite stars, declare your love to them, take souvenir photos, or even ask for an autograph, the holy grail of a true fan.
We already know some of the celebrities who will walk the red carpet on the opening day of the festival, such as Ève Gilles (Miss France 2024), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Emily in Paris), Alexandre Brasseur (Tomorrow is Ours), Augustín Galiana (Here Everything Begins, Clem), Lucien Jean-Baptiste (The First Star, He even has your eyes)
