Want to kick off the year on a creative (and tasty) note? Welcome to Ohamo, the café-restaurant where for just 1€, you can grab your brushes and paint with watercolors while sipping on a delicious hot chocolate. A hybrid and friendly spot, Ohamo has everything to charm you!

A Unique Concept in the Heart of Lille

Opening in mid-March 2024, Ohamo is located just steps from République and Rue de Béthune. Led by Léa Brassart, this place aims to be more than just a simple bar: it’s a meeting space where people come to eat, chat, and unleash their imagination. The idea? To offer a “watercolor bar” where for just 1€, you can enjoy a complete kit (paper, brushes, paint) for one hour while tasting your latte or a homemade dish.

The Menu: Local, Simple, and Above All, Delicious

Here, no fuss: a short and tasty menu, designed with local products. Depending on the seasons, you will...you can treat yourself to:

A leek and raclette cheese quiche (perfect for winter)

A ginger chicken inspired by a recipe handed down from the former owner of the place

And the hot grilled cheese, the sure bet that melts all foodies’ hearts

On the sweet side, we can’t resist the peanut butter brownie (a killer, I promise from a Lille native), not to mention the tarts, financiers, and other cookies. In short, it's all about homemade treats to satisfy your taste buds.

A place where your creativity shines

The great strength of Ohamo is also this arty vibe: in addition to watercolor kits for just 1 euro, creative workshops are organized (painting, drawing, etc.), highlighted in stories on their Instagram. You can come alone, with friends, or even with family; the idea is to share a friendly moment over a lovely steaming cup and a few brush strokes.
