Giants (in the literal sense) at the Town Hall
On Saturday, the Town Hall opens its doors wide to the Lille giants: workshops, archives, mini-giants, and a final show at 5 PM. The program includes parent-child workshops, archival documents, an exhibition of mini-giants, and the final performance by Tire-Laine at 5 PM. A delightful slice of Northern folklore to enjoy live!

The Architectural Heritage Unveiled
This year, the national theme is architectural heritage. It may sound a bit school-like when you say it that way… but really, it’s the perfect opportunity to visit places you’ve never seen from the inside. The Palais Rameau is open for this occasion, the Hôtel Clarance offers guided tours, the Dominican Convent, the Saint-Maurice Pellevoisin district, and even workshops with concrete and clay to get hands-on experience.

Bonus: concerts, exhibitions, and surprises
On Friday evening, the Libertalia ensemble kicks off the festivities with a tribute concert to the Roaring Twenties at the City Hall. For exhibitions, you can check out “Les estaminets à Fives” or “L’habitat à Moulins” to dive into the history of the neighborhoods. The kids are not left out: stories, treasure hunts, and even parades from the Lille Opera are on the menu. And as usual, Lille 3000 is opening its exhibitions for free all weekend.
